North Carolina Inns :: Hotels Raleigh NC :: Fuquay-Varina :: About The Inn
The Inn was built in 1927, the home of the
Cozart family. The Cozart family owned and built one of
the hotels - The Ben Wiley, celebrating the mineral
spring. Dr. Wiley Cozart and his wife Pauline; both
were very community minded people, and their home was used
for many community functions during the 1920's through the
1970's. Dr. Cozart was the Mayor of the town for 10 years,
and Pauline was the one of the community's finest
gardeners.
There are around 4,000 properties on the
National Register of Historic Places in Wake County, North
Carolina the Inn is one of those also, but there are less
than 90 that have designated as Landmarks. This is very
special honor for our Inn. For more information on

grand stairway having fluted, classical, Doric columns. Guests are

room. The Inn features two original painting of International
