Brien's experience runs the gamut from bars,
lounges, nightclubs, pig-pickin's, and festivals; to garden
parties, strolling minstrel, wedding/receptions, and high-end
upscale restaurants.
He has an extensive repertoire, and an uncanny
ability to read an audience and choose exactly the right music for
the moment. Whether they be sock-hoppers, baby-boomers, or senior
citizens, he seems to know just what to play for their maximum
enjoyment.
On occasion Brien plays his own music at the
Historic Inn's outside "Garden Pub" along with the songs of
Jimmy Buffett, James Taylor, and others. Carolina Pale Ale and
Nut Brown Ale from the Carolina Brewing Company in Holly Springs
are on draft, and Chatham Hill Wine is featured. Brien is one of
the Triangle's best musicians he always enjoys the outdoors and
the Garden setting.
