Girls Night Out at the Inn on Saturday Dec. 9, 2006.

The event will include a wine tasting by local wine expert Julie Walker. Julie has always enjoyed tasting and exploring wines and will share will us her knowledge. The tasting will be Saturday, December 9th, at 5:00 PM the Inn. The cost will be $20.00 per attendee plus the booking of the accommodations.

The wine tasting will consist of two parts an education piece and a pairings part. The objective of the education piece will be to teach tasters to sense how the basic flavors of sweet, salty, sour, spicy, and bitter change their perception of the flavors of the wine. The pairings piece will consist of comparing wines with classic combinations of food and off the beaten path combinations. The key to this segment will be to apply what was learned in the education part of the tasting.
