Common Rooms

Main Parlor

The main parlor will host a crowd of thirty easily. The crafted brass chandelier, fashioned in 1927, accents the fluted Doric columns. This formal room offers an area for cards or chess or some social conversations with other guest. The stairway offers a picturesque site for brides and bridesmaids and other formal gatherings. During the winter months the fireplace will add to the warmth of the formal room.

Dining Room

The dining room is used for serving breakfast. The formal table serves twelve, and the room will host other seating for three or four, for larger groups. The formal ambience is enriched with the French crystal chandelier and the lighted mahogany china cabinet. Our new Miele Espresso, Cappuccino, and Coffee Machine is located just off the Dining Room in the Butler’s Pantry for our guests’ enjoyment.

Library

The adjacent Library can also be used for dining if a large crowd is present. The Library can seat ten for a formal meal. The Library is accentuated with an Italian inlaid mahogany clock that chimes every quarter of an hour. Other mementoes of The New York Yankees and collectible art can be viewed in the library. The Library can also be used as a quiet retreat from the business day for reading or internet research.

Sunroom

The sunroom will be the sign-in location for all guests. This cheery room, offering views of the side garden, gazebo and the Mineral Spring, can be used for extended parties in the library. A large screen T. V. is available. Collectible art is also on display in this room. The porch off the sunroom, offers a casual outdoors breakfast spot for two or three.
